The Alamac Road Fire 2007
The below photos are of a multi company drill with the following fire departments participating. Allenton FD, Dublin FD, Tarheel FD, and the East Howellsville fire department. This drill was conducted on 5/18/2009 and consisted of mayday drills using RIT teams. Pictures taken at the Southeastern Academy School on NC HWY 41 North of Lumberton. Live Burn Training The below photographs were taken during a live burn training exercise in Whiteville NC on October 4, 2008. The below photos were taken on Saturday September 27, 2008 at the Robeson Community College Training Center located on Hwy 72 East of Lumberton during a Fire Control class with Fairmont Rural Fire Department. All photographs were taken by Austin Allen and Janene Parker.
The below photos were taken on Friday night April 18th 2008 at Chadbourn N.C. with students from various Columbus County Fire Departments. This class consisted of pump training, hose handling, and fire suppression training. Instructors were Steve West, Jeanie West, Terry W. Parker. There were more than 50 people there participating in some type of capacity, from IC to air bottle support. All photographs were taken by Austin Allen.
Flame Out The below photos were taken during a flame out class at the Robeson Community College Training Center located on Highway 72 East. This class occurred on April 12, 2008. Students participated from various Robeson and Hoke County Fire Departments. Instructors were Steve West, Jeanie West, And Terry W. Training With Ladder Truck The photos below were taken during a hands on training class at the Robeson Community College Training ground on January 12, 2008. The training consisted of different scenarios that covered setting up apparatus, pumping, relaying water, Ariel water streams, and stand pipe systems.
