Tribute To Bill Bryan

This page is dedicated to the memory of a dear friend and fellow firefighter Mr. Bill Bryan.

For those of you that knew Bill you know that he will be greatly missed. Bill was a charter member of the East Howellsville Fire Department and made it his goal to ensure that the East Howellsville Fire Department was one of the best equipped and trained departments in Robeson County. You could always count on Bill to always be there when the pager was activated and to always be here when work had to be done at the station. Bill designed and built two trucks that were used at the East Howellsville Fire Department he also repaired the trucks and equipment when they needed to be repaired. Bill was also a fire/rescue instructor and loved teaching, not only did he train many of the East Howellsville Firefighters but he trained many Robeson County Firefighters. Bill also served as Chief, Deputy Chief, President and Publicity Chairman for the East Howellsville Fire Department. We could go on and on about the many things he did for the fire service but there are so many that this web site cannot hold them. We just want to say Thank You Bill we know that you are still with us on every call and that you are now responding from the Central Station in Heaven.
